This fun little Verity velvet patchwork pinafore dress has all the classic pinafore features you’d expect but the material it is made from is seriously special. There’s nothing quite as nice as the feel of real, soft, luxurious velvet, and when it’s as vivid and colourful as this, hippie magic happens! When you carefully razor-cut the top layer to reveal the colours underneath, the effect is really lovely. The velvet is warm and stretchy, it has dunga-style pockets, and the shoulder straps adjust for a perfect fit.

Patchwork of beautiful cotton velvet, warm and stretchy, two pockets at waist and one on the bib, natural coconut buttons on the waist side and on the shoulder straps to adjust length

S/M - waist up to 38 inches, length 36 - 38 inches (approx UK fit 10 - 12)

M/L - waist up to 40 inches, length 37 - 39 inches (approx UK fit 14 - 16)

L/XL - waist up to 42 inches, length 38 - 40 inches (approx UK fit 18 - 20)

XXL - waist up to 44 inches, length 39 - 41 inches (approx UK fit 22 - 24)

Product care

This product is recommended for Hand wash only separately in cold water. Not suitable for washing in a washing machine, even on a Hand wash cycle. Line dry. Do not use bleach. Please follow instructions on the label found on this garment (when applicable).

Most of our products are dyed by hand and due to this process it is advisable to avoid contact with light coloured fabrics and upholstery. We recommend hand washing in cold water prior to wearing. Please always wash this garment separately and inside out.

I'm so pleased this came in larger sizes. The quality of the patchwork is fab and the slight stretch makes it super comfy to wear. May have to get the other colours too.

Verity Velvet patchwork pinafore dress

The dress is in the curvy girl selection which is what I need. The material is stretchy so is a bit more forgiving too. I chose the purple dress and the colours are rich and vibrant.
I ordered large/ x-large (18-20) and I would say I’m a 20. As always the items were delivered quickly and packaged with care. I do like the dragon gold found in every parcel too.
